the way we look
i couldnt think of anything good to bring up in a blog but then today when we read the poem barbie doll it made me think, is life really like that? are we all hung up on image? how others look? how we look? we would all like to think that looks dont matter and its personality that really counts... but in reality i guess it does matter.. a lot. people can act like it doenst bother them but it what others think does get to them... but why does it really matter so much?

I as well read the poem barbie today in class.. nd shared the same thoughts...I think no one in this world can not beg to diff that image isnt everything...peoples images is the reason why i we look at magazines, watches tv , or even see what the latest fashion is i guess u can "image" is one of those things that make the world go around
ReplyDeleteI think people care so much because they want to fit in with society. Everyone always go into the bathrooms just to look at themselves in the mirror. Sometimes I wonder why it is so important what people think of everyone. Personally I don't care what people think of me because they probably don't know me and my personality.

ReplyDeleteI think life really is like that. People try so hard to impress everyone else and to fit into society. Every girl wants to be that pretty girl that all the guys talk to and every guy wants to be the hott guy that all the girls love. Society puts too much pressure of the world to fit into what they believe is normal when it is almost an unattainable goal.
