Life after high school

Many seniors don't know what they want to do after they graduate. It is very typical to be undecided on a major or career path. Others have their whole college career set up from beginning to end. Some decide to take a break after they graduate to reflect on some aspect of their lives, can't move on or are not able to afford college right away. Do you think that is best for the person to take a break in their education or to continue it? Some maybe be afraid to move on because of what the world may have to offer them or the changes that may occur. Do you think it is very difficult to be out on your own coming from high school or is it an easy transition?

    For me it would be a bad idea to take a break before college because i would forget most of the stuff i learned before going to college. but that's just me, it may be different for someone else cause they can handle it. and yes i don't think its an easy transition but nothing you want comes easy in life. its just something you have to work at to achieve.

    I'm a very independant person, so when it comes to being on my own, I can handle it. I'm going to college at the University of South Florida which is pretty far if you ask me, but I want to go far so I can be independant finally. I've been with my parents for 18 years, it's time to grow up and support myself for the most part. I'm not saying I'm not nervous to go away to college, but you have to leave your family some time.

    I am the type of person who likes to be home close to my family. As i grew up, i never wanted to go away to college. I think for some people it would be good to take a year off from school after they, figure out what kind of person they really are or look further into what they really want for their future. If you're an independent person, i think the transition will easier for them opposed to someone who rather not go away to college.

    i feel that if i took a break after high school i just wont go back. also i feel like to just better to get done with it as soon as possible

    I'd like to think it's an easy transition. I guess it just depends on how a person can handle themselves without constant assistance from others. Personally, I don't think my days will be any different from now to then.
