Chicken or the Egg
This question has been asked over and over since before we were all born. No one is really sure which came first, one can only assume. I am a catholic, but I'm not too sure on what a catholic's answer should be. Personally I think that the egg came first. Without the egg there is no chicken. You could argue this many different ways, but that is what I think, the egg came first. What do you think came first, the chicken or the egg?

I'm pretty sure the egg. Some weird farmer must have gotten two birds together and been like "Oh, hey, this is a good idea!" and then BAM an egg. Cool story.

ReplyDeletethe chicken came first its not like an egg can magically appear but the chicken can
ReplyDeleteHow could it be the egg? Something must have had to lay the egg, for the egg to be there. I do believe different responses involve different religions. I'm Christian, and what Christians are told to believe is that God placed animals onto the Earth according to the book of Genesis...there was nothing in the book that said anything about God placing eggs onto the Earth. But I'm open to believe in either one. It could be the chicken OR the egg. Can't it be both?
ReplyDeleteI say the chicken came first because with out the chicken where else would that reqroduced egg come from
ReplyDeleteYou can have a different kind of bird create a chicken. Such as my dog is a husky and a chow mix. However, his mother was a chow, but he is NOT a chow. Same thing. Interbreeding, man, interbreeding.
ReplyDeleteI think the egg came first, the bird that layed the egg didn't HAVE to be a chicken. It could've been some kind of mutation.
ReplyDeleteThe chicken and the egg appeared at the same time, obviously. I was there.
ReplyDeleteThis is a dumb question about evolution and God. If you believe in God then the answer is God created chickens which will eventually lay eggs. That answer is CHICKEN! If you believe in evolution then the chicken was formed from 2 other animals after a lot of trial and error through out time. However to create this hybrid it must have hatched out of an egg. So that answer is EGG! It's just what you believe in!
